Managing Report Sharing

Administrators can enable users to publish reports to a platform when sharing reports.

Configure a Platform as a Publish Destination

On-premise client administrators can configure publish destinations by following the steps below. For SaaS clients, these steps will be completed for you by a SaaS administrator.

To configure a platform as a publish destination, follow these steps:

1.         Go to Admin Settings > Platforms and Data Sources.

2.         Click the name of the platform that you want to edit, or click Add Platform to create a new one.

3.         Select the Allow Publishing check box.

4.         Complete any other fields on the Platform Settings page as appropriate.

5.         Click Save.

6.         Perform an IIS reset to finalize your platform changes.

Enable a Platform for Report Sharing

To enable a platform for report sharing, follow these steps:

1.         Go to Admin Settings > Report Sharing.

2.         On the Report Sharing Options page, select the Allow Publishing to this location check box for the platform you configured above.

3.         Inform any users who need access to publish reports to this platform that they must log into the platform and click the enrollment link.

Viewing the Sharing Log

To help with troubleshooting, administrators can view a log of all reports that have been shared.
