Report Gateway caches certain data so it can quickly be retrieved. The cache is cleared and refreshed automatically, depending on the settings on the Platforms and Data Sources page.
However, sometimes a user may want to clear the cache on demand. For example:
▪ A user has added a new entity, asset manager, project, or other entry to MRI Property Management and they want to be able to select and report on the new entry right away.
▪ A user has changed the name of an entity, asset manager, project, etc. and the parameter selection list still displays the old name.
To clear the Report Gateway API cache on demand, follow these steps:
1. Click the Help menu on the menu bar, and then select Clear Cache.
2. The cache is cleared for the current client/user/database combination. You are returned to the Report Gateway home page.
